The CW’s hit DCTV show The Flash is shutting down production on season 6 due to the increasing concern of the coronavirus pandemic.
Deadline reported late Friday night that unit manager Brent Crowell announced that all production will come to a stop, effective immediately “until further notice”. The show films in Vancouver and joins fellow CW show Riverdale in stopping production on their show.
The Flash joins a growing number of TV shows, music festivals, sporting events, and movies that have put on a hiatus in order to prevent any further spread of coronavirus. There is no word from the show or The CW as to how this will affect the remainder of season 6, which is currently airing.
