‘America’s Got Talent’ to film without audience amid rising coronavirus concerns

With concerns over COVID-19 rising, America’s Got Talent has decided to film the rest of their auditions with no audience for the foreseeable future.

TMZ was first to report that AGT had canceled their live audience auditions and will continue their audition round without a crowd over fears of the virus spreading. The news comes following judge Heidi Klum falling ill on set and being forced to leave early as a result. She missed Wednesday’s taping and Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet filled in for her.

The news comes as Riverdale, Survivor, and all the late-night talk shows based in New York have stopped production as precautions are being taken nationwide to prevent the virus from spreading further.

Talk Nerdy With Us will have more information as it becomes available.

America’s Got Talent returns this summer to NBC.
