How To Get Away With Murder‘s fall finale finally revealed the informant, saw the Keating Five got high on ‘shrooms, and delivered an ending so shocking that I felt like I was on ‘shrooms by the end.
You better believe I have questions, so here are three of the biggest ones I have after the Season 6 fall finale, titled “Are You The Mole?”
Is Wes really alive?
THAT ENDING THOUGH! I’m still shook as I’m writing this. In the final moments, we flash forward to Annalise’s funeral like we did way back in the season premiere. However, this time, we linger and “someone who knew Annalise for years” wants to say a few words about her. So, who is it? It’s WES GIBBONS! Yes, the same Wes who was killed way back in season three. Or is it?
Okay, hear me out because I have a theory. Back then, viewers saw Wes’ body burned and even the autopsy being performed. So while it may have looked like Wes, I don’t think it actually was him. Instead, I think that it is a grown-up Christopher at Annalise’s “funeral”.
Who killed Asher?
One of the first questions answered in Thursday’s finale was who is the informant? Well, it turned out to be Asher! He says he hasn’t told the police anything concrete. But before he can fully explain, Oliver knocks him out with the fire poker. He’s bleeding, but is still alive.
So why did Asher turn and become an informant for the FBI? He was basically blackmailed and did it to protect his mom from going to jail. From there, it’s foggy as to what happens next as Asher is seen in a pool of his own blood outside Gabriel’s apartment.
So who killed Asher? Gabriel is too obvious and this show, for the most part, doesn’t do the obvious. Someone walked up to Gabriel’s door and Gabriel knows who that is. Moments later, we see splatters of blood and the fire poker as the weapon. I have no idea who killed Asher, but you can bet I’m counting down the days till we learn in April.
Is Annalise really dead?
The show’s promo said we will find out #WhoKilledAnnalise in April. With just six episodes left, there’s not much time for create and solve another mystery. So who knows where Annalise is going, but there’s no way she returns to Philadelphia.
I’m sticking with my guns and saying Annalise is not really dead but she has instead gone into hiding. Either way, we’re in for one hell of a fun and suspenseful final few episodes.
What did you think of the episode? Let me know in the comments below!
How To Get Away With Murder returns Thursday, April 2 at 10/9c on ABC.
