“Lizzie McGuire” Reboot Starring Hilary Duff Coming To Disney +
Hey now, hey now — this is truly what dreams are made of.
It was announced on Friday at Disney’s D23 Expo that Hilary Duff will be reprising her role as Lizzie in an all-new Lizzie McGuire series coming to Disney+. Original series creator Terri Minsky is attached to serve as showrunner on the new project.
The new Lizzie McGuire will revolve around Lizzie as a 30-year-old millennial navigating life in New York City. However, it is unclear whether any of the other original cast members — including Lalaine, Adam Lamberg, Jake Thomas, Hallie Todd and Robert Carradine — will be part of the new Disney+ series.
