Arrow is going all out for its eighth season by bringing back some familiar faces. You can now add Oliver Queen’s mom to that list as Susanna Thompson will be reprising her role as Moira Queen in the Season 8 premiere of the show, executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed to GreenArrowTV.com.

He did not go into detail about how she will return, but since her character died in Season 2, it is safe to assume that it will be in a dream sequence.

Since Moira’s death in season 2, Thompson has returned to the show three times. She appeared in the 100th episode and in the Season 5 finale. She also had a voice-over only role in Season 3.
