Sendhil Ramamurthy cast as villain Bloodwork for Season 6 of ‘The Flash’
The big bad for Season 6 of The Flash is out for blood – literally! Sendhil Ramamurthy is joining the hit superhero show as villain Bloodwork. The news was officially revealed by producers during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday.
Ramamurthy will play Dr. Ramsey Rosso, a brilliant physician with a genius intellect. He is a former colleague of Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) that reconnects with her after an unexpected event. But that friendship quickly shatters when Russo tries to defy the laws of nature, taking him down a dark path that transforms him into the villain Bloodwork.
According to the press release, Bloodwork will be the most chilling villain Team Flash has ever faced and judging by the trailer that was released, I’d say that statement is true.
Ramamurthy joins the show after having starred as Dr. Mohinder Suresh on Heroes and Heroes Reborn. He’s also starred in New Amsterdam, Reverie, Covert Affairs and The Office.
