Hannah May Allison Releases New Single “Summer Sucks”
Nashville singer-songwriter Hannah May Allison just released her new single, “Summer Sucks”.
Written by Hannah May Allison, Casey Cattie, Lauren McLamb, and John Miller, the single is an “anti” summer song about a girl in a relationship who adored everything about summer, but the end of the relationship ruined summer for her altogether.
About the song, Allison said, “This song relates to anyone who has ever been through a summer break-up, and sings about how hard it can be to enjoy this time of year without being reminded of who you used to share it with.”
This is Allison’s second single to come out this year and it might even be better than it’s predecessor. It’s got a catchy chorus that I’m sure will be stuck in my head for the next few weeks. I also really enjoy that there’s a cool twist on the up-beat songs you normally hear coming out during the summer. And even though the lyrics are filled with anything but your typical summer content, it’s still the perfect song to add to your summer playlists!
“Summer Sucks” can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and wherever music is streamed. For more information, make sure you visit Hannah’s website or follow her on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
