The ‘Animaniacs’ Head to San Diego Comic Con 2019

Early last year, Hulu announced that it would be bringing back the hit show Animaiacs.

“I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu,” said Executive Producer Steven Spielberg in a statement. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal.”

Other details about the reboot have been far and few in between, but luckily some other Animaniacs-related news has been announced. The animated series is bringing a live show to the Balboa Theater during San Diego Comic Con.

On Thursday, July 18 at 7:30PM, the original voice-cast stars of the iconic animated series — Rob Paulsen (Yakko, Pinky, Dr. Scratchansniff), Jess Harnell (Wakko), and Maurice LaMarche (The Brain), along with Emmy-Award winning composer Randy Rogel  will be performing songs from the original animated series during a live performance.

Tickets start at $32.50, and there are limited VIP packages, which include premium seating and a meet & greet for $102.50. All tickets will be available to the general public on Ticketmaster on May 1st.
