‘America’s Got Talent’ reportedly ‘set to replace all judges except Simon Cowell’ in major shakeup

Is America’s Got Talent about to get a major facelift?
According to Page Six, show bosses are planning to replace all the judges except for Simon Cowell in the first of what is reportedly going to be many changes.
“The word on the street is they are replacing all AGT judges except Simon,” a source told Page Six. “It started with [talk about replacing] Mel B and now it’s everyone. Tyra [Banks] is gone.”
Mel B and Heidi Klum have been on the show since season eight back in 2013 and Howie Mandel is currently the longest-serving judge, having been on since 2010.
It was previously reported that Tyra Banks is leaving her role as host and it has been speculated AGT: Champions host Terry Crews is replacing her following the positive feedback from fans.
However, a second source told the website that they are not revamping anything.
“It’s inaccurate,” the source said. “The brand is extending, and is doing phenomenally well.”
The show has been the top-rated summer show since it premiered back in 2006 and America’s Got Talent: The Champions has been NBC’s highest rated Monday show for two weeks, averaging 9.9 million viewers.
