NBC announces premiere date for ‘World of Dance’ Season 3

Get your dancing shoes ready because World of Dance is back!

NBC officially announced the Jennifer Lopez produced dance competition will return on Tuesday, February 26 at 9 p.m. EST for a special premiere episode before moving to its new time slot of Sundays at 8 p.m. on March 3.

Lopez returns to the show as the head judge as well as executive producer. Derek Hough and Ne-Yo are also back on the judging panel.

The network also officially confirmed reports that Scott Evans is the new host. Evans will take over hosting duties for Jenna Dewan as she bowed out after two seasons of fronting the show.

Season two averaged 5.6 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the key 18-49 demo, which is down 27 percent from the 7.7 million and 1.8 demo rating from their inaugural season back in 2017.
