Tom Hardy Cast as Venom in New “Venom” Film

Sony has just announced that Tom Hardy will be playing Venom in the newest Venom film.

The film is to hit theaters in 2018 and will follow the tracks of Logan and Deadpool by being a rated R superhero (the term is used loosely) film.

Although Venom is known for being one of Spider-Man’s most known nemeses, the film will not take part in the newest Spider-Man: Homecoming universe. Sony plans on having his story of bonding an alien symbiote that gives him supernatural powers come to life separate from the Peter Parker’s world by establishing an entirely new universe.

Personally, I think Tom Hardy can do no wrong. What do you think of the casting choice?
