New High Fantasy Series ROSE from Image Comics Launches This April

From Meredith Finch, writer of WONDER WOMAN, and artist Ig Guara (of BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT fame) comes a new high fantasy series from Image Comics, due out this April.

ROSE follows the titular character as she connects with her Khat, Thorne, to become a Guardian. They are hampered by the acts of the evil sorceress Drucilla and her “many powerful and demonic allies.” Rose is scared, and rightfully so, but she tries to survive and do the right thing for the people in her world.

Says Finch, “Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved fantasy fiction. Rose, for me, more than anything is a love letter to that genre. Having the opportunity to publish Rose, a book that means so much to me, through Image, a company that has established itself as the premier publisher of creator-driven comics, only makes this experience that much more special.”

ROSE #1 will feature two covers, Cover A by Guara and Cover B by artist David Finch. The issue will arrive in stores Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
