This #GivingTuesday, Consider Giving to RAINN

Thursday was a day to give thanks. Friday was a day to be selfish and splurge. But today is Tuesday, and it’s a day to give back and start the holiday season the right way by making a difference.
Did you know that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men become victims of sexual assault in their lifetime? These statistics are even higher on college campuses, and it is an epidemic sweeping this nation. Layne Morgan, a writer’s PA who has worked on shows such as The 100 and most recently Shannara Chronicles, has started a fundraising campaign to support survivors of sexual assault. Her goal? Raise $3,000 for RAINN, an organization that has already helped over 2 million survivors.
Maybe you have a few extra bucks to spare? Anything is helpful. A few dollars can make a difference to a survivor of sexual assault and help shine a light on an issue that is so prevalent. So on this #GivingTuesday, consider giving to a cause that affects so many.
