K.C. Undercover Earns Third Season of Missions

Disney Channel announced today that its hit spy show “K.C. Undercover” will return for a third season.
In making the announcement Adam Bonnett, executive vice president, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide praised the series ability to deliver both action and comedy. “We’re very proud of the success of ‘K.C. Undercover’ and how popular it is across our different platforms,” Bonnett said. “The series will continue to deliver action sequences that push the boundaries of the multi-camera genre with the same great quality storytelling and talented cast led by the incomparable Zendaya and executive producer Rob Lotterstein.”
Rob Lotterstein, the show’s executive producer, made it clear he’s very excited to get back to work, tweeting out a classic Disney reference following the announcement. Production for the show is set to begin in 2017.

In the statement, Zendaya added, “I’m happy I get to continue making positive television for kids all over the world. Stay tuned for season three – it’s going to be next level!”
Playing BFFs on the show, series stars Zendaya and Veronica Dunne have each been keeping busy. With filming officially wrapped on her next project, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Zendaya is launching her very own clothing line on Friday, Nov. 4. According to Vogue, everything in the new line runs from size 0 to 22, and is priced between $18 and $158.

Dunne, who plays K.C.’s best friend Marisa, made her Broadway debut on October 17 as Roxie in Chicago. The star is set to play the femme fatale for six weeks, fulfilling one of her biggest dreams.

New episodes of “K.C. Undercover” premiere on Disney Channel on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET and on Disney Channel’s multiple platforms including the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD.
