Sum 41 Makes an Impact on the Billboard Charts with “13 Voices”

It’s been a dramatic five years since the release of Sum 41’s last album, 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder. With the release of 13 Voices on October 7, Sum 41 has shown that they are not just back. They are back with a vengeance.
13 Voices has made an impact, landing at number 9 on the Billboard Top Albums chart, #6 on the Alternative chart, and #22 on the Billboard 200 Chart. In its first week, 13 Voices sold 16,100 copies, an increase from the sales of Screaming Bloody Murder.
These sales should come as no surprise. With a 76 on Metacritic, 13 Voices has received mostly positive reviews. Just as important, the Sum 41 fan base is as active as ever, selling out most of the band’s shows on The Don’t Call It a Sum-Back Tour.
13 Voices is available now. For fans wanting a bit more, Target will feature an exclusive version of the album with four bonus tracks. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to win prizes like a signed test pressing of the album and exclusive wireless headphones from V-MODA.

No kidding – 13 Voices is a seriously great album – it’s amazing. Probably my second favorite, first being Does this look infected.
