MCM Aaron Douglas

If you’re like me and obsessed with science fiction, then chances are you know who I’m talking about when I mention Aaron Douglas. Perhaps best known as Chief Tyrol on Battlestar Galactica, Douglas has a wide array of roles in his repertoire.

The first time I ever saw Aaron act was in Smallville, where he played a corrupt policeman who wanted to kill Lana. Although I had no idea who he was at the time, so I don’t know if I can really count that!

Douglas began acting in 2000, but it wasn’t until BSG that he really hit it big. Chief became such a great character with an amazing arc. Confession: if I ever have a boy, he’ll be named Galen.

After Battlestar ended, Aaron went on to guest star in multiple shows before finding major success (at least in this writer’s mind) on the Netflix original series Hemlock Grove. Aaron played Sheriff Tom Sworn and ***SPOILERS*** when his daughters are killed and he breaks down crying? Omg I was crying too and yelling at the Emmy voters to give him an award.

Aaron can next be seen on Dirk Gently, debuting this fall on Netflix and BBC America.
