DJ Khaled to Host 2016 VMAs Pre-Show

MTV has announced that none other than DJ Khaled will be hosting the “MTV VMA Pre-Show” live from the red carpet at Madison Square Garden, Sunday, August 28th at 8:00 pm ET/PT. The show is an hour-long and will be filled with performances from today’s hottest stars including Lukas Graham, Alessia Cara, and Jidenna.
The pre-show performances are presented by Pepsi as part of The Sound Drop, the company’s new music platform that identifies the next generation of breaking artists, in partnership with iHeart Radio, Shazam and Viacom. The Sound Drop officially launches at the MTV Video Music Awards with Lukas Graham, Alessia Cara and Jidenna as the first artists to become part of the platform.
