Syfy Announces New Sci-Fi Thriller

Today Syfy announced they have greenlit a new sci-fi thriller pilot called Prototype. Written by Tony Basgallup, Prototype will focus on three people who stumble upon an invention that challenges the nature of quantum physics, and puts their lives in danger.

“PROTOTYPE is a purely original idea from a talented writer with a unique vision,” said Bill McGoldrick, Executive Vice President, Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “We can’t wait to see this original idea come to life in this pilot for Syfy.”

Prototype is the latest in new pilot series to be developed at Syfy.
