Almost All Major Characters Set to Return to Gilmore Girls

We already know that Netflix confirmed the Gilmore Girls Revival. The streaming service has decided to bring back the television show eight years after it has gone off the air.

The service has remained pretty secretive on the details but has confirmed that there will be four-90 minute episodes each taking place during a different season (i.e. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). All four episodes will be connected because they will take place throughout one year in the characters lives.

Latest actors to be announced include Liz Torres (Miss Patty) and Sally Struthers (Babette Dell). See more below.

We now know the following:

• Jared Padalecki will be appearing in the Winter episode
• Milo Ventimiglia will be appearing in at least three episodes
• Matt Czuchry will be appearing in one episode
• No update on the return of Melissa McCarthy (even though she publicity said on Twitter she was not asked to return).
• All three main men (Jared, Milo, and Matt) will appear in an episode together
• Filming has begun and will last quite some time with some actors flying back and forth between the revival and other jobs

Now here is your cheat sheet on the FULL cast that is confirmed to return to the show and who they played:

Lauren Graham: Played Lorelai Gilmore for seven seasons and will return and appear in all four episodes.

Alexis Bledel: Played Rory Gilmore for seven seasons and will return and appear in all four episodes.

Kelly Bishop: Played Emily Gilmore for seven seasons and will return and appear in all four episodes.

Scott Patterson: Played Luke Danes for seven seasons and will return and appear in all four episodes.

Sean Gunn: Played Kirk Gleason for seven seasons and will return and appear in all four episodes.

Keiko Agena: Played Lane Kim for seven seasons and will return for all four episodes.

Yanic Truesdale: Played Michel Gerard for seven seasons and is set to appear in one or more episodes.

Matt Czuchry: Played Logan Huntzberger for three seasons is set to appear in one episode.

Liza Weil: Played Paris Geller for seven seasons and is set to appear in one or more episodes.

Milo Ventimiglia: Played Jess Mariano for five seasons. Will appear in three episodes.

Sutton Foster: Did not appear in the original series, but was hired as a new character set to appear in the revival. No word on how many episodes.

Danny Strong: Played Doyle McMaster for four seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Jared Padalecki: Played Dean Forester for the first five seasons and will appear in the “Winter” episode.

David Sutcliffe: Played Christopher Hayden for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Vanessa Marano: Played Luke’s daughter, April Nardini, and appeared in the last three seasons and is set to return in one or more episodes.

Emily Kuroda: Played Lane’s mom, Mrs. Kim, for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Jackson Douglas: Played Jackson Belleville for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Sally Struthers: Played Babette Dell for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Todd Lowe: Played Zach Van Gerbig, Lane’s husband (who was also in her band), for five seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Liz Torres: Played Miss Patty for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Michael Winters: Played Taylor Doose for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.

Rose Abdoo: Played Gypsy for seven seasons and will appear in one or more episodes.
