Hello again, lovelies. Now that almost all of our TV shows have returned to our screens, we can go back to having fuller lists!

TALK NERDY WITH US WEEKLY TV SUPERLATIVE AWARDS:
BEST ONE-LINER: lucifer
“i don’t read minds. i’m not a jedi.” – lucifer
If Lucifer walked the earth, I would imagine he would look like a walking sin. So, I suppose Fox’s Lucifer has got Lucifer down pat because hot damn that dude looks like a walking sin! But all fangirling aside, the most entertaining part of the show is probably the quippy come backs delivered with a perfectly straight-faced. When Lucifer tells Chloe that he has the ability to sense people’s desires, she asks him if he’s a psychic. To this he replies, “I don’t read minds. I’m not a Jedi.” The line itself is pretty hilarious, but the delivery makes it so much more entertaining. (contributed by Arlene Allen)
MOST BADASS CHARACTER: THE 100
bellamy blake
Clarke was our most badass character last week, so it’s only fair that her fellow delinquent co-leader snatch the title this week. The show’s original bad boy, turned rebel king, turned actual dad of the delinquents has more than earned the title through the seasons. This episode, however, Bellamy was in overdrive after learning that Clarke is being hunted on the orders of the Ice Queen. His sharp focus through the entire episode was to ensure that Clarke is found by their search party and rescued from the bounty hunters on her trail. After being unsuccessful in convincing Kane and co. to go after Clarke against the impending Ice Nation army, Bellamy decided to take matters into his own hands and went undercover in the marching army as an Ice Nation soldier so he could make the trek to the forest he saw Clarke disappearing into earlier, putting himself in great peril. After successfully singlehandedly finding the cave that Clarke was being kept in, he attempted to rescue her, only to be caught by Roan, Clarke’s captor. Even after being stabbed by Roan in the leg and being knocked out, Bellamy still did not give up. He limped on his very hurt leg to try to chase after Clarke and Roan and only stopped when Monty convinced him it wouldn’t work.

lesli and burksi
After three years of pinning for Leslie, Burksi’s dreams finally became a reality. Leslie and Burski are OFFICIALLY official! When Lesli offered to go kiss Trent in order to find Candace’s grandmother’s ring, Burksi decided he could no longer keep their relationship a secret. In the season finale, fans found out that they’d been dating for a while and they kissed in front of their friends to seal the deal!
Honorable Mention: Pretty Little Liars (Caleb and Spencer)
most swoonworthy scene: UNDATEABLE
justin sings to candace
Justin proposes to Candace, but it isn’t just any old proposal. He starts it off by reminding her of the first time they met and starts singing the song that was playing: “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys. But, lo and behold, halfway through the song, the Backstreet Boys themselves show up and join in. Swoon! They reveal that they’re in town for a fundraiser and Justin asked them to come out to sing for her. Afterwards, Justin gets down on one knee, and proposes to Candace. Honestly, that was probably one of the cutest proposals ever. Aw!
biggest otp moment: the 100
bellarke reunion
One of the most interesting aspects of The 100 is the relationship between its characters and the dynamics that have evolved over time between them. A core element of the show is the ever-growing dynamic between its two delinquent leaders: Clarke and Bellamy. The two started the show off as polar opposites with a very antagonistic relationship between them. As the show went on, however, and the two found themselves in a shared leadership of the delinquents through the many struggles faced by the group, their relationship evolved from enemies to comrades. Through the end of season one and leading into the beginning of season 2, the two went from being mere co-leaders of convenience to very close friends and eventually became each other’s best friends and confidants by the end of season 2. Their relationship seems to have evolved even further in the current timeline after the events of this week’s episode. When Bellamy discovered that Clarke was being hunted by the Azgeda Queen’s bounty hunters, he put everything else aside to go after her. The entire episode saw Bellamy spiraling deeper and deeper into desperation as he fought to get to Clarke and rescue her. But the real shining moment of the episode came when he finally reached her in the cave she where was being held captive. The sweet moment, accompanied by swelling music, was one of the most powerful scenes the duo have shared on the show. Bellamy’s big smile and look of relief at finally finding her (and caressing her hair out of her face, ahem) followed by Clarke’s sigh of relief and happy surprise over finally seeing a familiar face was a testament to how far these two have come since first butting heads at the door of the dropship in the pilot. Not only did Bellamy spend the episode spiraling with worry over her safety and risk his life without a thought to go find her, but Clarke also effectively exchanged her life for Bellamy’s when she made a deal with Roan. Roan, who had his knife-blade positioned at Bellamy’s throat, only let Bellamy live because Clarke promised she wouldn’t fight him during the rest of their journey. While Clarke and Bellamy’s relationship might not be canonically romantic, but that does not stop this moment (and their relationship as a whole) from being one of the sweetest exchanges to grace our television screens.
MOST EMOTIONAL SCENE: the flash
iris visits her mom in the hospital
This season of The Flash introduced us to Iris’s previously assumed dead mother. It was revealed that Francine, a drug addict, had left the family when Iris was little and Joe had simply led Iris to believe that she was dead to save her from heartbreak. The revelation of her mother still being alive was a very difficult one for Iris, understandably. Iris’s anger over being abandoned was fueled even more when she discovered that Francine is in her life now because she has discovered she is dying. After spending a long time refusing to see her mother, Iris finally decided to visit Francine at the urging of Joe upon hearing that Francine’s health had gotten really bad. Her reunion of sorts with Francine in the hospital room was probably one of the most emotional scenes the show has had. Iris told Francine that she has finally come to terms with the pain of being abandoned and has learned to forgive Francine, and would have done the same thing if Francine had only come to her sooner. Candace Patton’s beautiful performance in the scene is tear-jerking, especially when Iris leaves the room and hugs Joe while crying over her estranged mother’s impending death and conflicted emotions it brings.
MOST terrifying SCENE: supernatural
the attack of the banshee
Supernatural has had its share of creepy episodes, after all, it is a horror-fantasy show. This episode, while very entertaining and at times a hilarious one, had some very scary vibes in it, mostly due to its monster of the week. The opening sequence took us 30 years back to an adorable family having a great time, until they were suddenly attacked by a banshee. The terrifying banshee targeted the father by making him hear screams that made him repeatedly bang his head against the wall, resulting in his death. Then, the banshee appeared and killed the mother as well, leaving the infant baby crying in her crib. It was a truly haunting start to the episode, and one that we hadn’t seen in the past few seasons of the show.
MOST HEARTBREAKING MOMENT: the 100
hannah tells monty about his dad
This episode of The 100 featured quite a few emotional reunions. One of these was the reunion between Monty and his mom. When the Clarke-Rescue-Gang was left under attack at the end of the last episode, it was assumed that the attacking party was Ice Nation. It was, however, revealed that this group of people was not grounders but actually survivors of a different part of the Ark, the Farm Station. The group of survivors included Monty’s mother as well as the former Earth Skills teacher, Pike. Monty’s mom, after a lot of urging from him, finally shared what happened to his dad. Evidently, after landing, the survivors were attacked by Ice Nation. Monty’s dad went outside to save the children playing in the snow. He was able to save quite a few before he also died from the attacks. The story was heart wrenching and tragic as a whole but even more so for Monty who, for a brief second, had believed his father still alive.
MOST heartfelt reunion: shadowhunters
simon is saved by the gang
The last episode left us hanging after Simon was kidnapped. This episode, we got to see Clary, Jace, Alec, and Isabelle work together to save him. The reunion was adorable when Simon was finally rescued from the vampires in Hotel Dumort. It was endearing to see Simon and Clary reunite with a hug. Such adorable BFFs!
MOST HEARTWARMING MOMENT: the flash
wally comes to iris for support
While it’s been difficult for Iris to reconcile with the fact that her mother is still alive, the revelation hasn’t been any easier for Wally. Growing up without one parent is taxing enough emotionally, but to realize that you have a father and a sister living not too far from you? That has got to mess someone up emotionally! Especially when that someone is already dealing with the deadly illness of his mother. Wally spent most of the episode giving his newfound family the cold shoulder, but after Iris reached out to him following her heart-to-heart with her mom, Wally warmed up a little bit. It was very heartwarming to see him show up to Iris’s doorstep and ask her to accompany him to the hospital to see his mom. Looks like the two might finally start to build their relationship.
FUNNIEST SCENE: supernatural
Mildred hits on dean
It is quite a feat for a TV show to win the “Most Terrifying Scene” and the “Funniest Scene” in the same episode, but Supernatural has! While the episode had its share of creepy moments, it also had some hilarious moments. One of the running gags of the episode was Mildred, one of the residents of the retirement home that Sam and Dean were investigating, jokingly hitting on Dean. When Dean and Mildred sat on her couch to see the sunset, they both shared a very meaningful conversation about life and happiness. After sharing the thoughtful moment, Dean remarked that Mildred’s hand was still on his knee. Mildred’s response was to ask him if he’d like her to move it higher up his leg, which made Dean laugh and walk away. Mildred and Eileen were delightful additions to the show and I hope that we get to see them again! (contributed by Jenni Bradley)
best action SCENE: legends of tomorrow
legends vs. ARMDEALERS
Boy, Ciara Renee wasn’t lying when she told us that there were some intense fight scenes in the show that she was looking forward to the fans seeing. While the first episode showed us some fight scenes, the second one really outdid itself and gave us a full Avengers-style team fighting sequence when the legends’ undercover mission at the arms dealing summit went awry. There’s nothing like a shared fight sequence to show us just why these seemingly misfit people fit so well together and exactly what they bring to the table.
BIGGEST PLOT-TWIST: the 100
lexa sent roan/roan is prince of azgeda
The 100 has never been shy about dropping some big shockers on us. And yet, they seem to get us every time. When we first learned that the Ice Queen had put a bounty on Clarke and saw Roan hunting her, it was easy to assume that he was sent by the Ice Queen. The assumption was further given weight when we learned that Roan belonged to the Ice Nation (Azgeda). It wasn’t until the end of this episode, when Roan finally reached his intended location with Clarke that we learned who had sent him after her. It was *drumroll* Lexa! The last we saw of the Commander, she had left Clarke at Mount Weather after making a deal with President Wallace. Now, we find out that Lexa had sent Roan after Clarke to keep her from falling into the hands of the Ice Queen. But that’s not the only surprise we had dropped on us. Roan, who we thought was just some random bounty hunter, is actually a Prince of Azgeda, son of the Ice Queen herself!
CUTEST SCENE: arrow
felicity shows oliver her goth-self
After spending the episode battling her subconscious through hallucinations of her past self brought on by her recent trauma, Felicity finally comes to term with the fact that she has changed for the better as a person and she belongs in the crime fighting business. This leads her to share with Oliver who she used to be. She shows him a picture of her college self and tells him that the old her would have released the top-secret Argus plans for “Rubicon” on the internet, to which Oliver replies that old him would have snapped Joyner’s neck. They both realize that they have changed a lot to be better people and share an adorable moment. Cuties!
Honorable Mention: Supergirl (Adam asks Kara to go on a date)
