Supernatural Fan Favorite Jensen Ackles Wins People’s Choice Award
Many Supernatural fans wishes came true when Jensen Ackles won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Sci-Fi TV Actor, beating other Sci-Fi Favorites in the Favorite TV Actor category.
Ackles plays Dean Winchester on the long-running series and is a fan favorite. Although Supernatural has taken home the prize for Favorite Sci-Fi TV Show in previous years, both he and Jared Padalecki, who plays younger brother Sam, had yet to win.
Last year’s Favorite Sci-Fi Actor was Misha Collins, Jensen Ackles’ co-star on Supernatural.
After his win, Ackles posted an amusing acceptance video on his Facebook page.

I am so very happy for Jensen,, I like many have been waiting for this win for some time.. It only took 10 years.. But that’s OK.. He finally gets the recognition he deserves..
