MCM Charlie Cox

Charlie Cox is a precious cinnamon roll, at least according to Tumblr. And myself.

Charlie’s big break came in 2007 as the lead, Tristan Thorn, in the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Stardust. It wasn’t until this year that I saw this gem and I kick myself for waiting so long. It has everything: action, romance, mystery. And it’s based on a book by one of my favorite authors, so there’s that too.

Too Pure for This World became a household name in the US when he joined the cast of Boardwalk Empire as Irish immigrant Owen Slater. Unfortunately he only lasted two seasons as his character was killed. I guess you could say he *lost his head*, eh?

In 2014 Charlie could be seen on the silver screen in The Theory of Everything as Jonathan Hellyer Jones.

This past April is when Charlie Cox entered my life. He plays Matt Murdock in Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. Daredevil was so successful that it was greenlit for a second season, which is currently being filmed.

Unfortunately for all of us, Charlie does not have social media.
