Entertainment Weekly’s Captain America: Civil War Cover
On May 6th we face what may be the biggest battle in the Marvel Universe. With the tagline “Divided We Fall,” the movie is a clash between two great heroes, Captain America and Iron Man. A teaser was showcased at the D23 Expo this past August and fans that weren’t in attendance have been anxiously waiting ever since. Last week, cast members Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans brought the official teaser trailer and poster on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Although Disney is mainly focusing on promoting Star Wars, it is clear that they are already looking to generate buzz on what looks to be next summer’s biggest blockbuster. This week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly talks about which classic Marvel characters will be present in the movie in addition to new ones such as Spiderman and Black Panther. In the complete issue, there will be interviews from the cast and creator as they discuss the newest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
