The Vladar Company, which was founded in 2008 by Vlad Yudin and Edwin Mejia, is a media and entertainment company that caters to the market’s growing need for entertainment content across multiple platforms and focuses on developing, financing and packaging a library of intellectual properties with its producing partners at leading Hollywood production studios. The company is becoming a leading producer of many genres and multiple mediums in domestic as well as international markets. As of late, the Vladar Company has negotiated with KSM Film and Madman Entertainment to get their films released in new markets. KSM Film has acquired all rights for Germany for The Hurt Business, while Madman Entertainment has acquired all rights to both The Hurt Business and Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer for Australia and New Zealand, and the company is currently in talks to make their films available in even more territories.

Part of the reason for its worldwide success is the fact that the Vladar Company has a reputation for making insightful, invigorating and unique documentaries. Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer, which was directed by Vlad Yudin, produced by Yudin and Edwin Meija and executive produced by Matt Kapp, pulls back the curtain on the life and times of the world’s most provocative designer, Jeremy Scott, as he makes his way in the fashion industry. This documentary portrays Jeremy as an inspiring artist and offers in-depth insight from fashion industry leaders and celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Kanye West, Katy Perry and more on how Jeremy was able to break through as one of the most respected designers in the world without compromising his bold and unconventional style.

Additionally, The Vladar Company recently announced their upcoming documentary The Hurt Business, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed documentary Generation Iron, which highlighted the world of bodybuilding. With The Hurt Business, Yudin turns his sights on the world of MMA, taking an in-depth look at what life is like for those within it. The film follows the daily lives of UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones, former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Rashad “Suga” Evans and female phenomenon Ronda Roussey, the first and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. The movie also plans to give viewers a diverse perspective of the various lifestyles and career trajectories that exist in the fight business. Written by Yudin and produced by Meija and Oscar-winner Jim Czarnecki, this movie has the potential to be as successful as its predecessor.

The Vladar Company also possessed the rights for exploitation for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Police State, which was written and directed by Kevin Arbouet. The movie is centered around a Manhattan that is thrown into chaos by a series of explained bombings and terrorist attacks. Sean Young (Blade Runner) and SETH GILLIAM (The Walking Dead, Still Alice, The Wire) will star alongside Neal Bledsoe (Revolutionary Road), Wass Stevens (The Wrestler), Alic Callahan (Morning Glory, Gossip Girl) and Kristina Klebe (Halloween).
