Fandom Speaks: Jane the Virgin Chooses Her Man (Spoilers Ahead!)

There’s only one part of the entire episode from last night that Jane the Virgin fans are talking about, but it’s very likely that’s exactly what was intended by the writers and producers.

Last week Jane kissed Rafael. This week she kissed Michael. And now, her preference is all anyone can talk about.

Whether fans are #TeamRafael or #TeamMichael, they all have a lot to say and none trust Jane’s decision to be final. Those who are #TeamRafael are surprisingly open to Rafael finding someone new, someone who is definitely NOT Petra. Those who are #TeamMichael say they won’t trust Jane’s choice until there is a)commitment, and b)a wedding.

Many who haven’t particularly expressed exactly which team they’re on (but definitely sound as if they’re on #TeamRafael) simply don’t trust Michael. They say that Michael is manipulative and untrustworthy. That he doesn’t let Jane be herself. And yet, when Jane is being more like herself than she has been since before Mateo’s birth, she chooses Michael.
