October Movie Releases 2015: Halloween Becomes Horrorween

If you are a fan of scary movies, October may be your favorite time to go to the theater and get your scream on. There are a variety of different horror themed movies that will have you hollering until you’re hoarse and will send chills up your spine way before Jack Frost nips at your nose.
If you were a child from the 90s, there is the Goosebumps movie based on the popular book series by R.L. Stine. The movie stars Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush and Jack Black and will be released on October 16.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse starring Niki Koss, Tye Sheridan, Patrick Schwarzengger, Halston Sage and Logan Miller hits theaters October 30. If you are a fan of Jason kills everyone at camp type movies with zombies thrown in, this is the film for you.
There’s also Camp Bloodbath, the name of that one says it all.
Crimson Peak, released October 16 and starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver, has a gothic mansion and ghosts. Plus, Supernatural fans will jump at the chance to see their beloved Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) interacting with ghosts again.
Speaking of ghosts, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension released October 23 is another ghost in haunted home type film.
Final Girls and Christmas Horror Story round out this horrorpalooza
