Lucky day for fans Jonathan Jackson returns to General Hospital

July 6th will be General Hospital fans lucky day when Jonathan Jackson returns briefly as Lucky Spencer, son of Luke and Laura.

Jonathan originated the role of Lucky in 1993 at the age of 10 and has won many awards, including several Daytime Emmy Awards for his portrayal.

He was replaced by actors Jacob Young and Greg Vaughn when he left to pursue other interests.

Jackson reprised the role in 2009-2011 before departing again. He currently stars as Avery on ABC’s Nashville while also pursuing a music career.

Lucky returns (along with Genie Francis and Nathan Parsons) to send Luke Spencer off with Anthony Geary’s departure.

Fans will hate saying goodbye to Jonathan Jackson again but are ‘Lucky’ to have him back even for a short time.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
