A&E Orders Two More Seasons Of ‘Bates Motel’
Don’t worry Bates Motel fans, the contemporary Psycho prequel series will not be ending anytime soon.
A&E Network has ordered two more seasons (20 episodes total) of the acclaimed drama series starring Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga as Norman and Norma Bates.
“The vision of our incredible creative team has exposed the steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates,” said A&E Network executive vice president and general manager Rob Sharenow in a press statement. “We are thrilled to bring fans two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman’s transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history.”
New episodes of “Bates Motel” will begin production later this year and the fourth season plans to air in 2016.
