The First Look at Season 4 of ‘The Walking Dead’
In 85 days 19 hours and as of this writing 15 minutes Season 4 of The Walking Dead premieres on AMC. I can’t imagine I’m the only super fan of this show that is in full on countdown mode. It seems hard to believe that it was only 4 short years ago that Frank Darabont and the people over at AMC brought the series to the small screen after being immortalized in print by creator Robert Kirkman. I don’t think anyone could have predicted what a success a show about zombies would end up being and yet here we are about to begin the fourth season with the average amount of viewers in season 3 being 11.42M viewers per episode making it the most-watched cable drama ever.
A show about people who are trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. Go figure. In the meantime, newly minted showrunner Scott Gimple and the current cast of The Walking Dead premiered the first official season 4 trailer at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con convention and revealed the new season will air beginning October 13th, 2013 at 9pm Eastern Time.
