Projecting Change Film Festival: Innovative Minds Coming Together
The Projecting Change Film Festival (PCFF) is a 5-day festival that showcases documentaries about environmental and social sustainability, empowerment, identity, and global change. This if PCFF’s sixth year running and so far they have presented over 100 films and had over 150 speakers.
The festival will begin with an opening night screening of ‘Kicking It,’ followed by a gala event to mingle with fellow changemakers, media, and PCFF members. Other highlights include many other film screenings with panel discussions afterward, youth days, a yoga retreat, and multiple workshops. Some of the most interesting films to me are Bully, Girl Rising, and Academy Award nominee How to Survive a Plague.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students, and $80 for a full season pass. To see the full schedule, click here! I’ll be interviewing the executive director of the festival, Katie Schaeffers, tomorrow morning and for updates during the festival, follow me on twitter @reviewsbylauren.
If you live in the Vancouver area then you should come out to the festival from April 24-28!
