East of Main Presents 'Monday Night Live'

Vancouver’s East of Main Café with Project Limelight is presenting ‘Monday Night Live,’ a night of film industry storytelling.

Select Monday’s each month will feature well-known personalities from the Vancouver film industry, each telling a seven minute story. The evening will end with candid Q&A’s with the actors, producers, casting directors, agents and others who perform. The event starts at 7pm.

This Monday features actress Amanda Tapping from various Stargate series and Sanctuary, actor Terry Chen from Bates Motel and Continuum, Curtis Burch the producer of Words & Pictures (currently filming in Vancouver with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche), and Vickie Petronio King an agent at Play Management. The evening will be moderated by actor Ryan Robbins from Godzilla and The Killing.

Entry is by donation, with all proceeds going to support the Project Limelight Society, a free performing arts program for children in the DTES and surrounds.

 

This definitely looks like a fun event to check out if you’re in the Vancouver area, but make sure to go early to get a seat!
