Cover Wars: "Call Me Maybe"
Think of that one song that you can’t get out of your head. A song that has been on the radio recently. Got it? Is it called “Call Me Maybe?” Well I hope so, because that would make this cover wars a lot more interesting!
“Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen has been blowing up large ever since Justin Bieber posted a video of Ryan Good and Ashley Benson lip syncing, and rocking out to the song! It seems like nobody can get enough of the song, everyone is posting videos of them dancing and singing to this new sensation.
After a serious YouTube session, I’ve listened to hundreds of “Call Me Maybe” covers. I have tried my best to narrow it down to my top 5 favorite covers. Now it is your turn. Can I just point out that Paradise Fears is winning and they weren’t even in the running at first AND PF isn’t promoting this at all? TURTLES ARE SO DECE.

Paradise Fears is also like 236346 times bigger than FMIV.. lol
and either way you should all check out FMIV, i think Paradise Fears and them should tour together after this
Can I just say that this should be based on which band actuall had the better cover, not which band you think is cooler! Vote for the band that actually deserves it!
We DO vote for who we like better. We think Paradise Fears has the best cover. Yes they are cool yes we are fans. And if you really know these boys you would understand. We are a close family, all us fans and the boys. They really arnt even “That big” they are still unsigned and trying really hard. They just got lucky with how good there music is and how nice of boys they are that we are all determined to help them as much as we can to help them fulfill there dreams. This site lets us vote as much as we want. We arn’t just voting for Paradise Fears because they are “cool” but because they are really good
I gotta say, the competition going on between FMIV & PF is awesome. It says something about both bands & their fans as well. Whoever wins will really deserve it. I am voting for pf though cause i honestly do like their version better 🙂
totally stoked for PF being #1 on this. I agree they should be #1, although FMIV does have a pretty good sound as well. still like PF better. <3 Sam, <3 Micheal, <3 Marcus, <3 Cole, <3 Jordan and <3 Baby Louis!!!!
I feel like with all these covers and radio plays for this song, the popularity will reach a high peak and then decline. Because it’s played so often, people will get sick of it. I find this unfortunate because I really love the song and think the artist is worthy of more than a “one-hit-wonder” fame.
