Bio: The group is made up of former soloist, Justin Tyler, along with Tyler Nichols on drums, Michael Maughan on guitar and Collin Masiel on bass. Six months after the group formed, the four piece band were seen hitting Warped Tour hard promoting their brand spanking new ep “Next Level.” While touring the country with Warped, they managed to sell over 7,000 copies of their album! They are currently working hard on their debut album which is set to be released this summer.
Why Are They the Band of the Week: We chose Pop! Fiction as our first band of the week ever, because this a truly talented group of guys! They consistently have shown their amazing and outgoing personalities in person and through twitter. We had the pleasure of meeting them last summer at Warped Tour in Milwaukee and we can honestly say we’ve never met anyone who cares as much about their fans as Pop! Fiction! These guys deserve to make it big and we’re glad to help them out by spreading the word about them! If you haven’t heard of Pop! Fiction before this, you’re welcome!
