“Batwoman” 2×07 Recap: Ryan Feels The Kryptonite Side Effects

Batwoman continued on Sunday night after a week away with Ryan feeling the gruesome effects of her kryptonite injury, which led her to make a massive reveal.

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of episode 2×07, titled “It’s Best You Stop Digging”.

Ryan sees red

One massive side effect of Ryan’s kryptonite injury is that she has these visions of her getting revenge on Alice. Luke and Mary attempt to treat the injury but Ryan puts on the Batsuit, steals the Batmobile, and begins to hallucinate her mother.

Ryan goes to visit Angelique to get intel on Ocean’s location but finds Angelique cheating on her with another woman. Double ouch. Angelique tells her Ocean’s location before pushing Ryan off a balcony. Luke and Mary rescue a passed-out Ryan. Once she wakes up, Ryan tells Mary she will find Alice if it’s the last thing she does.

Ryan’s big reveal

Batwoman confronts Alice and takes off costume and wig and reveals her identity. Ryan attempts to fight Alice but the kryptonite injury makes it much harder. She gets close to killing Alice, but the visions of her mother prevent her from doing the job.

Ryan later reveals that she put a tracker on Alice to follow her to Coryana.
