Dust off your dancing shoes because Dancing With The Stars is back!
ABC announced that they have renewed the dancing competition show for a 28th season this fall. The news comes after the show opted not to air their spring season.
The 27th season struggled in the ratings, averaging a 0.93 rating in the key 18-49 demographic and over 7 million viewers per episode. It was also the most controversial season in recent memory as radio host Bobby Bones was crowned the champion, despite being one the the lowest scored dancers.
Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are expected to return as the hosts but there is no official word on the judging panel. Carrie Ann Inaba has been named the newest host of The Talk on CBS, so it is not yet known if she will return or be too busy.
