WCW Gal Gadot

Have you been living under a rock? Because right now Gal Gadot is the hottest thing to hit the silver screen in ages. And it’s all because DC FINALLY decided to do a Wonder Woman film.

Hailing from Israel, this real life goddess has been acting since 2007, beginning with the tv series Burbot. However it was her foray into the Fast and the Furious movies that put her on everyone’s radar. Her first film was the fourth installment, Fast and Furious, in which she portrayed Gisele. Admittedly, I haven’t seen any of the Fast films as they’re not really my forte. But I’m thinking I’ll make an exception now.

After the action-packed ride of the Fast and Furious, Gadot took a couple of lesser action-filled, but still fun, roles in Date Night and Knight and Day, featuring Steve Carell and Tom Cruise (respectively).

A couple of Fast films later and suddenly everyone was talking about Gal’s latest role: that of Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Have I seen it? Only the last 20 minutes. Did I want to see it? Yes, but for Wonder Woman only.

Wonder Woman began playing in theaters nationwide on June 2nd. I haven’t seen it yet (because while babies are great, they’re less than stellar at letting you see movies) but OMG I WANT TO. I’ve been a fan of Wonder Woman since I was a kid. How many superheroes are out there for little girls? You can bet that TNWU will have some thoughts on the film, so I won’t go too much into my expectations, but I’m super psyched at seeing Gal Gadot portray one of my idols.

So if you haven’t seen it yet, get thy self to the theatre and bask in the glory that is Diana Prince. I mean Gal Gadot. I get those two confused!
