La Vie Boheme! Fox brings “Rent” to the Live Musical Family

Fox has just announced their next live musical will be the award-winning, RENT.

“Rent” tells the story of seven artists who are living in New York City and are struggling to achieve their dreams. The show is set during a time of great social and political turmoil, under the threat of AIDS.

Although the original show creator, Jonathan Larson, died before the show hit its broadway run, the play still saw boundless success and continues to run at many theaters today. It was also adapted into a movie in 2005 starring Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Rosario Dawson  Jesse L. Martin, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Idina Menzel, Tracie Thoms and Taye Diggs .

Now we wait for the cast announcement, but I bet it will be amazing!
