MCM Scott Grimes

Scott Grimes is that guy you know from that thing. Most of his career has been spent playing the comic relief bff, which he does really well.
Scott began acting in 1984 with his big break coming in 1986’s Critters. His next major role was as Will McCorkle on Party of Five. In 2001, Scott was seen in HBO’s mini-series Band of Brothers as Sgt. Malarkey.
In 2003, Scott joined the cast of E.R. as Dr. Archie Morris. He was originally only supposed to appear in three episodes, but he received such positive feedback that he ended up staying on until the series ended in 2009.
Scott’s longest running role is that of the voice of Steve Smith in American Dad! which will air its 200th episode tonight on TBS 8:30/7:30c.
Scott has a close personal and working relationship with Russell Crowe, which explains why they have been in at least three movies together: Mystery, Alaska, Robin Hood, and A Winter’s Tale.
Did you know that in addition to acting, Scott is also a singer/songwriter? His last album, Drive, came out in 2010. The below video for his single Hide has his fans (including yours truly) lip-syncing along. You’ll also find cameos by Robin Hood and the Merry Men!
Scott can be found on Twitter (where he regularly interacts with his followers) and can next be seen this Wednesday on Law & Order: SVU.
