Talk Nerdy With Us is pleased to offer an exclusive first look at the teaser trailer for this independently produced film which was crowd funded through Indiegogo.  Ashes is a coming of age drama that explores the themes of love, loss and friendship.

The cast for the film includes Jake Raymond as Liam, Sara Mitich as Abby, Craig Arnold as Zach, Tanya Bevan as Sam, Raymond Ablack as Jay, Julia Baldwin as Claire and Dalmar Abuzeid as Bobby. It also features Christina Schimmel as Liam’s Mom, Christian Lattman as Liam’s Dad and Kristian Bruun as Joe.

Liam’s parents have passed away and they’ve asked to have their combined ashes scattered at the place they fell in love.  Liam is accompanied on his errand by his girlfriend and his best friends, all who knew his parents growing up.  Written by Jake Raymond and Dan Slater, produced by Jake Raymond and directed by Dan Slater, Ashes takes viewers on a sentimental trip fueled by memories, friendship and love.

Although the film reached their initial funding goal, their Indiegogo page remains active and they’re currently accepting more money and still giving perks for post-production costs.
