Seal Cast in “The Passion” Live

Grammy Award winning singer Seal has been cast in the upcoming live production of “The Passion”. Seal has been cast in the role of Pontius Pilate, who puts Jesus of Nazareth on trial. “The Passion” tells that story of the last hours of life on earth for Jesus Christ through Bible passages and a variety of contemporary songs. Other cast members include Tyler Perry, Jencarlos Canela, Chris Daughtry, Prince Royce, and Trisha Yearwood.

“The Passion” will be following in the footsteps of, most recently, “Grease: Live”. The event will be performed in New Orleans with iconic locals and thousands of people contributing. It will air live Palm Sunday, March 20th, on Fox.
