Dancing with the Stars Celebrity Cast Revealed

The celebrity cast for Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars has been announced and as in past seasons, it includes some known personalities and a few lesser known ones.

This year’s cast marks a noticeable absence of a football star dancing in the competition.

Confirmed celebrities for Season 21 include:  Chaka Khan, a music icon who has amassed many Grammy Awards in her career, Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late and beloved Crocodile Hunter – Steve Irwin, Victor Espinoza, the jockey who recently won a victory in the Triple Crown with American Pharoah,  Singer Nick Carter of The Backstreet Boys fame, Tamar Braxton, star of Braxton Family Values, Paula Deen, cookbook author and former Food Network personality, Academy Award winning actor Gary Busey, Kim Zolciak Biermann, former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and current star of Tardy for the Party, Pop singer Andy Grammer,  Hayley Grier, a 15 year old social media personality with millions of followers on Twitter and Vine and Alex Skarlatos, an American hero.

For the first time in the history of Dancing with the Stars, Carlos PenaVega and wife Alexa PenaVega will be competing against each other.

The dancing pairs are as follows: Bindi Irwin partnered with Derek Hough, Chaka Khan partnered with Keo Motsepe, Gary Busey partnered with Anna Trebunskaya, Hayes Grier partnered with Emma Slater, Nick Carter partnered with Sharna Burgess, Paula Deen partnered with Louis Van Amstel, Kim Zolciak Biermann partnered with Tony Dovolani, Carlos PenaVega partnered with Witney Carson, Andy Grammer partnered with Allison Hoker, Alexa PenaVega partnered with Mark Ballas, Toni Braxton with Val Chmerkovskiy and Alex Skarlatos partnered with Lindsay Arnold.

Dancing with the Stars returns for season 21 with a two-night premiere event airing Monday, September 14 at 8/10 pm EST and Tuesday, September 15 at 9/11 pm EST.
