The Messengers Review

When Evil Arises, Good Awakens is the tagline for The CW’s The Messengers, which premiered on April 17, 2015. The Messengers tells the story of a group of ordinary people who die but are brought back to life and given unique powers to aid them in the fight against evil.  They are God’s warriors charged with stopping the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from breaking seals. The Messengers are battling the Devil himself to save humanity.

Unfortunately for The Messengers, the biggest battle they have faced is the one for ratings. And while not exactly Armageddon, the battle appears to have been lost with the show’s cancellation. But The Messengers‘ fans have united in the hope of the show being resurrected on another network. Only time will tell whether their prayers will be answered and if this show will be given new life.

The Messengers airs Fridays at 9:00 on The CW.
