HBO has confirmed debuts for Will Ferrell special, Project Greenlight and Doll and Em

HBO has confirmed the premiere dates for “Ferrell Takes The Field” along with new seasons of “Project Greenlight” and “Doll and Em”.

In “Ferrell Takes The Field,” airing on Saturday, Sept 12th from 10-11 pm EST. We see the comedian go to five different Spring Training ball parks where in one day, he plays every position on the field for ten different teams!

This HBO special presented in conjunction with Major League Baseball and Funny Or Die is dedicated to helping the Cancer for College charity.

New seasons of “Project Greenlight” and “Doll and Em” will premiere on Sunday, Sept 13th at 10 pm EST with back to back episodes.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be returning as executive producers of the eight episode series (from 10-10:30 pm EST) that follows the challenges facing a novice film director.

“Doll and Em” returns from 10:30- 11:00 pm EST. In the new season, real-life best friends and stars, Emily Mortimer and Dolly Wells write an Off-Broadway play together.

Guest stars for the new season include Ewan McGregor, Oliva Wilde, Evan Rachel Wood and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
