Check Out ‘Girls’ Star Allison Williams as Peter Pan!

She can fly! Step aside Mary Martin, because Girls star Allison Williams is looking good as the new Peter Pan.

Earlier today, while visiting Today, Williams released the first official photo of herself as Peter Pan in Peter Pan Live!

Williams is wearing a wig for the role, but she did offer to chop her hair. In a statement when her casting was announced in August Williams said, “I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about 3 years old, so this is a dream come true. It’s such an honor to be a part of this adventure, and I’m very excited to get to work with this extraordinarily talented team. And besides, what could go wrong in a live televised production with simultaneous flying, sword fighting and singing?”

Airing Dec. 4, the live musical also features Christopher Walken as Peter Pan’s nemesis Captain Hook.
