NBC Cancels “World Of Dance” After Four Seasons

NBC is putting away its dancing shoes.

Deadline is reporting that the network has canceled World of Dance after four seasons with no plans to bring back the dancing show for a fifth season.

The news should come as no surprise after it was left off NBC’s summer schedule, which features the return of American Ninja Warrior and America’s Got Talent on May 31 and June 1 respectively.

The show featured Jennifer Lopez as judge/executive producer along with Ne-Yo and Derek Hough on the judging panel. Jenna Dewan hosted the first two seasons and Scott Evans hosted the third and fourth. Hough recently signed on as a judge on the 29th season of Dancing With The Stars.

World of Dance was a ratings staple for the first three seasons but struggled in its fourth season, averaging just four million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the key adults 18-49 demo.

Are you sad to the show end? I know I am! Let me know in the comments below.
