“America’s Got Talent” Recap: Which Act Did Enough To Win It All?

America’s Got Talent aired its penultimate episode for Season 15 on Tuesday night as the top 10 acts left it all on the stage to try and win the $1 million prize and the headline show in Las Vegas.

So who did enough to take the crown? Let’s dive into this recap!

Roberta Battaglia

The 11-year-old from Canada opened the show by performing Alessia Cara’s smash hit “Scars To Your Beautiful” and its easy to see why she’s been a favorite all season long. She has an amazing voice!

However, I felt this was possibly Roberta’s worst performance of the season. She sounded great but she’s had better performances this season.

Bad Salsa

The dance duo has been performing from their home country of India all season long but Tuesday night they surprised everyone by performing live in Hollywood. The duo brought their usual tricks and flips that even made me dizzy just watching them.

As amazing as they are, I feel that their routine has become stale and predictable. It has turned into the same tricks the past two seasons and I don’t feel that is enough to win.

Kenadi Dodd

The teen country singer was next as she performed a beautiful rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Love Wins”. It was really nice to see her ditch the piano and be on stage with her guitar. She has the makings of a true country artist.

While Kenadi may not win, she’s got a great future ahead of her in the country music seen. We have not seen the last of her.

Brandon Leake

One of the more surprising acts of the season has been the spoken word artist Brandon Leake. For his final poem, he spoke about his daughter and the love only a father could feel for his child. I’ve really enjoyed Brandon this season after having some doubts about him early on at his audition.

His final poem was not his best performance but he’s done well for himself this season and I do think he’s got a really good shot at winning this whole thing.

Broken Roots

The former police detectives turned country artists took the stage for the final time. They performed a great rendition of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” and their song choice was perfect.

However, while the song choice was perfect, I felt like this was a step down from their semifinals performance, which I thought was their best. Despite this, they still are extremely popular and have a great shot at taking home the crown.

Bello Sisters

I’ve said this on Twitter and here in previous recaps, but I don’t get the love for the Bello Sisters. They’re beautiful women but are basically the same act every time. For the finals, they added a crossbow. Not impressed.

I’ll keep this short: I don’t think they have much of a shot at winning.

Archie Williams

The next act up was Archie Williams, who as you probably know by now was wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. We get it. It’s a tragic story. With that said, his story should not be the reason he’s made it this far. His vocals aren’t strong enough and that’s just the truth of the matter.

For his final performance, Archie sang The Beatles’ “Blackbird” and he’s done good to get his story out there this season.

Daneliya Tuleshova

The 14-year-old singer was next and she may have delivered her best performance of the season at just the right time. For her shot at $1 million, she belted out a stunning rendition of Sia’s “Alive” and her voice is just in another league compared to anyone else.

I’ve said that she’s my pick to win from the beginning and I still stand by that. She has one very bright future and I can’t wait to see what is next for her.

Alan Silva

The penultimate act of the night was aerial act Alan Silva. Much like the Bello Sisters, I don’t get the love for Alan’s act. He does the same thing every time. Yes, he adds chains, fire, or water but it’s not impressive to me.

I don’t know if he will win but I could see him working with his brother in the future in Vegas and that’s something priceless.

Cristina Rae

The final act of the night belonged to Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer choice. She performed a beautiful rendition of Imagon Dragons’ “Demons”. She turned a rock song into a ballad and made it her own. I couldn’t think of a better way to end the night.

I’ve said Daneliya would win but Cristina is going to give her a run for her money. It would not surprise me at all if she and Daneliya were the top two.

Who do you think will win it all? Let me know in the comments below!
