CBS Officially Confirms Season 22 of ‘Big Brother’ Will Be All-Stars
After weeks of speculation, CBS has officially confirmed that Season 22 of Big Brother will be an All-Stars version, bringing back fan favorites to play the game once again.
CBS confirmed the news in a press release as a yet-to-be-announced cast of past winners, fan-favorites and “some of the best to never win the game” will return to try and win the $500,000 grand prize.
The news of the show’s return comes as COVID-19 continues to surge in Los Angeles and LA County, where the show is taped on the CBS lot. As a result of returning during a pandemic, the network is putting in a COVID-19 compliance officer to ensure the safety of the cast and crew.
The houseguests will also be placed in quarantine and “tested multiple times prior to entering the house” and “once a week after entering the house and will have no contact with show staff or crew,” according to the press release.
