‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: Kitty Unmasked As Final Four Are Revealed
The Masked Singer continued this week as the final five singers took to the stage to fight for their place in the final four. At the end of the night, one more celebrity was unmasked and sent home.
So who made the final four? Let’s dive straight into this recap.
Frog
The suit-wearing amphibian kicked off this week’s show with a performance of Young MC’s “Bust a Move”. His performance brought the house down as usual and his clue package included having a “little frog” at home. Given his clues from past shows, I’m pretty sure I’m spot on with who this is.
Who is behind the mask? My guess: anchor and rapper Shad “Bow Wow” Moss
Kitty
The feline showed off her vocal range with Amy Winehouse’s “Back in Black”. She sang the song really well, despite her losing her breath a few times. Her clues this week included some of the places she’s visited like Japan, New York City, and Niagara Falls. I know this person’s voice because I’ve heard it since she was 10 years old.
Who is behind the mask? My guess: America’s Got Talent alum Jackie Evancho
Rhino
Next up was the Rhino, who sang Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin”. While he performed the song well, it was not my favorite performance from him. His clues this week included ballet shoes and a turkey, so not much to go off of. I’m still sticking with my original guess.
Who is behind the mask? My guess: former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow
Night Angel
My personal favorite in the competition was the penultimate act of the evening. She sang a beautiful rendition of Donna Summer’s “Last Dance”. Her voice has been spot on most weeks and her clue packages have often referred to TLC, which makes this pick super obvious.
Who is behind the mask? My guess: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss
Turtle
The final act of the night belonged to the shell-tastic singer. Yes, not only is he my dark horse but I made up that nickname for him. Anyway, he closed the show with Coldplay’s “Fix You”, which was one of my favorite performances of the season. His clues included zombies and boom! There it is my guess confirmed.
Who is behind the mask? My guess: singer and actor Jesse McCartney
The Unmasking
After all the performances, host Nick Cannon returned with the results. He revealed the Kitty had gotten the fewest votes from the audience and would be going home. Before leaving, it was revealed to be AGT alum Jackie Evancho under the mask.
