‘Temptation Island’ Season 2 Finale Predictions
To say that Temptation Island season 2 has been a wild ride would be an understatement. From threesomes to sucking toes to intriguing love triangles, every episode has been must watch television.
Part one of the final bonfires airs this week which means that each of our four original couples now has to decide whether they will stay together, leave the island with someone new, or leave completely alone. Here are my predictions for what goes down in the season 2 finale of Temptation Island.
Ashley H and Casey – BREAKUP
If I thought any of the OG couples was going to make it off the island together in the beginning, I truly thought it’d be Ashley H. and Casey. However, after watching what went down in the last 9 episodes, I no longer believe that that is going to be the case.
Casey was selfish in bringing Ashley to the island. Nothing was really wrong in their relationship; he wanted to come to the island purely to have fun. He messed up and it probably cost him his relationship as I believe there is no way the two of them are leaving the island together. Part of me feels bad for him because I get just wanting to reunite with the one person who is your everything once you finally realize how great you have it. But on the other hand, he also said that if Ashley broke up with him he’d be okay because he’d just go back to hooking up with anyone so I can’t feel that bad for him.
I am 100% rooting for Ashley and Ben to leave the island together. Have you seen the way he makes her smile? Ashley deserves nothing but the best and I truly think Ben could be it for her.
Ashley G and Rick – TOGETHER
From the beginning, it seemed like a done deal that Ashley G. and Rick would not leave the island together. I seemed pretty confident in my guess as they bickered pretty much the entire time that the singles were introducing themselves, all hell broke loose when Ashley slept with KB the first second she could, and Rick right away started building a solid connection with Medinah.
But things have changed a lot in the last few weeks. Ashley and KB broke things off and Rick basically friend-zoned Medinah on their final date. These two have clearly learned a lot about themselves, both as individuals and as a couple, during their time on the island and I think it will ultimately lead them back to each other.
Kate and David – BREAKUP
It’s been pretty clear for awhile now that Kate and David are not making it off the island together. From the beginning, Kate seemed more invested in their relationship while David just seemed interested in using the experience to hookup with as many girls as possible.
David and Toneata – David’s current woman of choice – have made it clear they’re leaving the island together. Not only do I find them to be extremely boring, I also think they’re both caught up in the fantasy. There is no way their relationship will last off the island. In fact, Us Weekly reported that one couple who left the island together is now broken up because of what they saw when the show aired and I have a feeling it could be these two.
On the other hand, Dom is sooooooooo in love with Kate and it’s so cute to watch. He has been nothing but supportive of her and there for her through every step of David’s f*ckery. When she finally kissed him during their overnight date, I definitely whooped and hollered from my couch. I truly hope they leave the island together, no matter how slow they have to take things once they leave.
Esonica and Gavin – BREAKUP
I’ve gone back and forth about whether or not I still think Esonica and Gavin are together. Gavin is clearly either leaving the island with Esonica or alone. I don’t really care for him, but I did feel bad watching him get rejected by Mia for his final date. That had to hurt.
I do, however, really like the connection Esonica and Kareem built all season. It’s obvious that they have a physical connection, but it’s also clear that they are comfortable around each other and respect each other. Kareem sees her and accepts who she is as a person, something she’s said Gavin never really did. Ultimately, I think Esonica decides Gavin is not the person she wants to do life with and leaves the island with Kareem.
