3 Questions Following ‘The Flash’ 6×07 “The Last Temptation of Barry Allen Pt. 1”

Barry Allen went through one hell of a mind trip in Tuesday’s episode of The Flash, resulting in one bloody ending – literally.

As always, I have questions as us viewers were left on a cliffhanger. Here are three of my biggest ones following episode 6×07, titled “The Last Temptation of Barry Allen Pt. 1”.

Will Ramsey’s virus spread?

Barry went through one hell of a mind trip after he gave Ralph some of his speed-healing blood via blood transfusion. He starts hallucinating and sees Ramsey, but can’t understand why. The speed force (in the form of his mother, Nora) tells him that Ramsey wants to take control of Barry.

By the end of the episode, that’s exactly what Ramsey does. Barry is no longer himself and truly infected with the blood virus. So will Ramsey’s virus spread? Based on the preview for next week, it looks like Barry and his friends will have to dig deep to find this virus.

Will Iris’ digging get her killed?

When you investigate a secret organization, it never ends well. Case in point when Iris and Allegra go investigate a courier business for the rich. The person they ended up talking to was killed on the same day in the same spot.

So will all this digging get Iris killed? Probably not. But this investigation that she, Allegra, and Kamilla are going on is going to get nasty and may have dire consequences.

What do the symbols on the door that Wells found mean?

Elsewhere, it appears Nash has found The Monitor’s secret door. There were several symbols on the door and it appeared to have emblems of Flash, Green Arrow, Atom, Supergirl, and Superman.

So what do these symbols mean? While it is not confirmed, I think these are the 7 Symbols of the destined Paragons. Anyone who has read DC Comics knows what they are. If you haven’t, read them because I’m not spoiling it here.

What did you think of the episode? Let me know in the comments below!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
